You are able to close your account by using 

 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/users/edit > [close account ...]

However as you have already registered and you need to register as a user to ask questions you could just leave the account open.

You will get emails from threads you subscribe to but you can easily ensure you are unsubscribed with 

  https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/users/settings
