My images of my self created website don't show up in firefox, they are located on my computer and i don't use backslashes

I have created a html-website, that includes images. They show up in every browser except Firefox. Because it is my favorite Browser, i would like to get an answer how i can solve that problem, thank you!! P.S. I don't use backslashes

You can use the Media tab of the Page Info dialog to see whether Firefox is blocking images on your page. Open the dialog using either:

  • right-click the page > View Page Info > Media
  • Tools menu > Page Info > Media

Firefox will show a list of images and other media, and you can click the first item, then arrow down one at a time and watch for a checkmark in the "Block Images" checkbox above the preview area.

It can be because of 2 reasons

1) You might not have given the correct file location in src tag

2) You may have disabled Images in Firefox, although it not a feature if FF since version 23, you might have installed the addon.

IF these both are not the reason, give the link to your website if its in the web, so we can have a look.
