Search-engine hits -- shortcut for next/previous page?

This probably relates more to features than to problems, but thought I'd start here.

When using a search engine (my personal favorite is multi-engine DogPile, URL below), typically there's a number of pages of results. At the bottom of each page there's a limited number of page-number links and one for "next" (possibly also one for "previous").

This may well depend on the specific page coding used on the site. But is there any shortcut that will work most places for activating the "next" link without actually scrolling to it?

I don't think anything like that is standardized among web sites or web browsers. But there might be an add-on for it.

There also are add-ons such as AutoPager that import subsequent results pages into the current page as you scroll down so you don't need to manually navigate to the next page. This isn't universal, but since this category of add-ons has been around for a while, they are preconfigured to work on many different sites.

I took a quick look at it, thanks, and may or may not actually try it. Since the original question involved a shortcut-convenience rather than a real problem, I'll take the liberty of tagging it as solved. Thanks again.

I've now installed and tried it, and it's definitely what the doc ordered. While it's not too clear on Mozilla's add-ons page for it, I was pleasantly surprised to find it also supports mouse activation via the context menu, better still. Again, many thanks.

I think I'd somehow marked my own previous reply with the "Solved" tag in error, but it looks like I've now succeeded in fixing that for proper credit to cor-el.
