RealPlayer record has been blocklisted to prevent this situation. From that screencast it looks like the blocklist isn't working. Either that or people have been turning the record function back on.

For the last time people, the problem is NOT the Real Player! On or off, blocked or not, it is NOT the cause of the videos not playing.

The problem is NOW known to be a INCOMPATIBILITY between the 11.3 version of the Adobe Flash Player and Firefox!! Both Firefox and Adobe are aware of this and I have messages from Adobe (that I have posted if ANYONE can read!) that they are aware and actively working on the fix.

In the meantime, you have two choices: 1. You can use Chrome or Internet Explorer, both of which work fine with the 11.3 version/Real Player. OR 2. You can UNINSTALL the 11.3 version and roll back/install the most recent 11.2 version of Flash Player and use Firefox! That would be the 11.202.235 version (earlier versions will also work but most recent is best). If you stop just skimming to the bottom here and try READING the above post you would have seen that all this has been posted previously by myself and Cor-el. Cor-el has posted the link to the 11.202.235 version. I've posted the links to the Version ID Find page and the Adobe UNINSTALLER page. Go find them and PLEASE stop blaming the problem on the Real Player, regardless of what you've seen elsewhere, that is NOT the cause here; it MAY have been in the distant past on an earlier version of FF, but it has no bearing on the problem NOW. Ignore it!

Having the same issue since last update from Flashplayer (11.3.300.262).

But not only in Firefox, in other brwosers too !

Hi MiM68300, have you considered reverting to Flash 10.3 or Flash 11.2? There is guidance on that in this article: Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again.

tried this too. Let me try to summarize : - before the last automatic update from FlashPlayer, not any problem in either browser - update to Flashplayer 11.3.300.262 : Youtube error message in all browsers - now back to 10.3 : having the same error message :-S

I have latest versions from Firefox and Chrome, tried to go back to a restore point from Windows from before the Flash update, and so on, and so on, nothing helped.

Never more automatic updates from Flash, I'm going crazy.

i have a dell inspiron and updated real player and had the same issue. i don't know if this helps, but i uninstalled real player and youtube works again.
