Pages load slowly, but if I hit the stop button, then the reload button the page will usually load. Tried everything. What else could it be?

Sometimes I have to hit the stop button, then the reload button, 3 or 4 times. I've tried everything the other articles said to check, (malware, virus, javascript) but nothing has helped yet. Other sites load fine, it's just a few that give me problems.

If you already tried to clear cookies and cache(from Tools > Clear Recent History > Time Range to clear select Everything > Details select Cookies and Cache > Clear Now, try in About:config find network.http.keep-alive and make it FALSE (by double click on it). Tell us if this works.

see for info : Network.http.keep-alive

thank you
