After completing an online exam, the post says I submitted an empty test. History has nothing for the ENTIRE time I was taking the test. Where is it??
It is now 7am. I started my final at 4:18am and finished around 6:25am. So my school page tells me. But after I submit, it says to view it, and it says I spent 2hrs and didnt submit anything. Went to my history to go back. And there is nothing there for that time period. NOTHING!! I also had other tabs open and running at same time. Where did it go??

Sounds like you have been operating in "Private Browsing" mode. If you have the Firefox button showing it will be purple instead of the normal mode orange.
Your situation sounds really weird. Honestly I wouldn't use Firefox to take a final exam. Especially the latest release since it's possible some changes in Firefox 12 made it incompatible with the school testing site. What education software did your school use to take the final? Blackboard?
Honestly, I'd get on Internet Explorer right now and check the status of your test or try to resubmit that test.
I'm looking at http://kb.blackboard.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=84639794 and it shows that it's compatible with Firefox 3.6 versions and Firefox final releases like 10, 11, 12. But I'm not sure I trust them.

I checked that 1st. Sad part is, I wasnt!
Hey shaadia, glad your test made it thru. I was gonna ask you to check with your professor first but I didn't know if there was a time limit on your final.
I've never heard of Blackboard working only on Firefox. It's usually the other way around. Everything like banking sites and education software works with the least glitches in Internet Explorer because it doesn't make that many changes in its code. Firefox on the other hand can break a random thing that was working fine in the previous release.
For example, there was a Firefox 11 bug that broke printing only selected text:
So better to be safe than sorry. But if it doesn't work in IE then I'm surprised.
