firefox launches unexpectedly and goes to noblesearchsystem.com without my prompting. my virus protection blocks the page. i can not uninstall mozilla firefox. help!!

I have run malware scans and virus scans and have removed a trojan file but it is still happening. I have tried to uninstall firefox thru more than one avenue, but i can't remove firefox... svchost.exe hogs all the CPU and memory usage during these sessions (when mozilla is running). are they related?
