A bank site recommends 128 bit incription and claim my browser, Firefox, doesn't have it. Is there an upgrade for that or do I have to use another browser?

While registering for online access, the bank website tested to see is my browser has the recommended 128 bit incription. I like firefox and wish to use it as my browser. Is there an update that uses 128 bit incription? March 26th of this year is the last modified date for my version.

Thanks,

Rena

If websites complain about 128 bit encryption not available then that can be caused by the "U;" that is no longer present in the user agent of Firefox 4+ versions.

Firefox supports 256 bit encryption ciphers since Firefox 2 was released in 2002.
