Can you tell me why Firefox has been replaced by Just Ask Jeeves as my default setting? Please tell me simply how to get Firefox back. I`ve tried downloading it again, but no good. This is now urgent. Many thanks, Nick.
For no apparent reason, Mozilla Firefox has been replaced by Just Ask Jeeves as the browser tool of my P.C. I have tried everything to get rid of Jeeves and restore Mozilla (including re-downloading Mozilla Firefox). No good - my system simply won`t let me do it. Can you please tell me very simply how to restore Firefox? This is becoming rather urgent now. Thank you. Nick.

Search for Firefox by:
- Click "Start"
- Click "Run"
- Enter "firefox.exe"
See if that brings up anything if so you may be able to start Firefox and set as default, then we can work on Uninstalling "Just Ask Jeeves"
Hi St. Peter. Thanks for your advice. I tried entering firefox.exe as you suggeted, but got the Just Ask Jeeves page again. You suggested uninstalling Just Ask Jeeves, but I`m not sure how to go about this since it doesn`t appear in my programmes. Thanks for your help.
It does not show up in programs?
- Go to "Start"
- "Control Panel"
- Under Programs click "Uninstall a Program"
- Can you find "Just Ask Jeeves"?
My Picture is close to what your Program List will look like because I have Windows 7.
