Not a problem, just curious.

No it isn't separate for laptops and desktops.

Mozilla just hasn't turned on the 3.6 to 6.0 update notifications yet. I don't even get that option today ( and for the last few days) when I manually "Check for Updates" on 3.6.18 / 20 from the Help menu. It's hard to update everyone using all versions of Firefox in one day or even spread out over a few days, there's only so much bandwidth available.

Well 3.6.20 is a update for 3.6 and the 6.0 is a update for 5.0

If you want Firefox 6.0 in desktop then you can download the Firefox 6.0 from mozilla.com

Thanks. I understand that. But I'm curious as to why when I check for updates on my desktop(ver. 3.6.20), does it not give me the option to upgrade to 6.0? It says I have the latest version. Is one for laptops and one for desktops?
