If I am running 3.0.19, is it safe to upgrade to 3.6.13, or will I create problems unless I install the inbetween versions, if there are any?

I am always reluctant to install upgrades until some time has passed, however, this time I think I waited too long to make the recommended changes. I am running 3.0.19 and my updates are recommending 3.6.13. This seems like a big jump in versions. I do not want to cause system problems in my computer. Is it safe to make such a leap, or have I missed too many versions in the meantime? I had a problem upgrading once that left me with a partial installation and fits with my Mac.

There's no problem upgrading directly to 3.6. However, you may experience problems with some of your add-ons and plugins. An update of them should fix that. And just a piece of advice based on personal experience -- don't be fooled to install FF 4.0.1. Still working out problems.

Don't even think about Firefox 4, your operating system and computer aren't supported in Firefox 4+ versions.

3.6.17 is the latest version of 3.6, and 3.6.18 will probably be released this coming week.
