incompatible add-on list for Firefox 4 is extremely incomplete
I just tried to upgrade to Firefox 4 - but first I checked the "compatible add-ons" list. As none of my add-ons were on the list, I decided to do the upgrade. Unfortunately, when Firefox 4 was installing, it had a problem with most of my add-ons. Please update your list with those provided below in the "Troubleshooting Information" section as FireFTP was the only one that had a compatible version.

Only extensions that are hosted on the Mozilla Add-ons side can be shown in the "compatible add-ons" list. Extensions added by other programs won't show in that list and you have to check the website of that program to see if they offer a Firefox 4 compatible version.

All these add-ons were "listed" on the Mozilla Add-On pages - that's the only place I'll get add-ons from. If you're going to list them on one part of your web-site, you should list them on ALL parts of your web-site - including the problems areas. How dificult is it to add the ones I sent you to the list of incompatible add-ons? Not very hard at all! I specifically went to your web page of "problem" add-ons before I downloaded and installed Firefox 4. The implication of that page was that none of my add-ons were a problem. The reality is that almost all of them are a problem. I feel let down by both this web page and your "not my problem" attitude.
There's a separate support forum for AddonsMozilla.Org over here:

I didn't say that it is "not my problem". You didn't tell us which extensions you were referring to as incompatible and your More system details list shows a lot of extensions starting with "Kaspersky URL Advisor" not from the Mozilla add-ons site. If the extensions didn't show as compatible in the list and a check on the web page of the add-on didn't confirm that the extension is compatible then you can expect to lose that extension after upgrading Firefox.
Pkelly80,
Try looking at it as a "start from scratch" install.
Some of the functions performed by the AddOns have been internalized by FF 4.0
You may not need all of them any more.
Also, FF 4.0 is not FF 3.6.# - it's a new beast with new tools to play with.
I didn't get a plugin to plugin match either. but, So far, I can get it to do anything I could do before and more.
It may take a little retraining. It may take awhile for all the PlugIn authors to catch up. but, The speed performance improvement and stability seem to make it worth the wait.
