Firefox won't save images?

I recently used Google Chrome, but it unexpectedly stopped working on me so I decided to download firefox. I was pretty happy with it, until I found out it won't save images. I right click and click "save image as" and nothing comes up. I get a little hourglass for a couple seconds, but the picture doesn't save anywhere!!!! Also, it won't let me upload either. Like on Tumblr when I want to insert a picture, you click the little insert button but nothing pops up. Nothing loads.

Can someone help me, because the internet hasn't been to kind to me lately.

Try deleting the file "download.rdf" from the path: C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\vlcl3pr1.default\
