Personas won't preview or wear. I have them "allowed" under sec tab, I might need the IP range because I used IPBlock.
Personas won't preview or wear. I have getpersonas.com 'allowed' in the exceptions. I believe it may need to be whitelisted through my firewall. I used IPBlock on Ubuntu 10.10 and I have had other similar problems with other sites before whitelisting them. I need the IP address and range.

Are you using the Personas Plus extension?
Did you try a new profile?

If it takes that long (several minutes) to download the persona images to wear a new persona then you won't see the hover effect unless you also wait that long. Personas aren't that big to justify such a long delay.

Previewing a persona only works on sites that are white listed via an allow exception.
You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in:
- Tools > Page Info > Permissions > [X] Install Extensions or Themes
- Edit > Preferences > Security : "Warn me when sites try to install add-ons": Exceptions
Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'Site Preferences'.
As I said in my original post, I have whitelisted (Edit> Prefs> Security, etc) getpersonas.com and the page info confirms that the site is able to "install extensions or themes." When I choose to wear a persona it take several minutes for it to actually change. However, preview on mouseover still no joy. I'm on Ubuntu 10.10 if that helps...

Well crap, tried to whitelist it in IPBlock but that didn't work either...gonna try to uninstall and reinstall again. It seems that when I mouseover, the menu bar text effects change but no actual background images. So strange.
Alright, so a few weird things. Reinstall didn't work, but I noticed that when a went to the personas homepage it was https://www.getpersonas.com (https?) and the page loads incorrectly, missing content and javascript, etc. But when I manually go to the address http://www.getpersonas.com (http) then the page loads correctly. In neither scenario does the mouseover work, however, and clicking themes still takes several minutes to actually change over. Wonder if maybe it has something to do with personas expression addon?

Figured it out, it seems that the Persona Expressions addon causes some sort of problem after the recent firefox update. Uninstalled expressions and it works fine. Thanks for the help guys =)
