My firefox is not running all of a sudden.

I have been using firefox for a year now with no problems and all of a sudden it doesn't work and I have tried everything. I downloaded firefox 4 and it worked but it is not compatible with my online schooling. Does anybody know what I can do? I have a Windows 7.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
