I have been trying to install the recorder on ksolo. I was told I needed to use the add-on from firefox. However, when I tried to use the add-on it said it wasn't compatible with the current updated version of firefox.

KarClient has not been updated for over 3 years and appears to have been discontinued. The last release version of Firefox that is worked on was Firefox 2 which was discontinued a couple of years ago. You should contact Ksolo support to see if they have a more recent version of the add-on.

You can try one of the methods in the Updating add-ons (MozillaZine Knowledge Base) article to force Karclient to install, but there is no guarantee that it will work, and it might cause problems.
