I take it you are following the instructions in this article - Unexpected installation error -203 when installing add-ons

Did you find the profile folder?

If you were in the right place you will see files called places.sqlite, prefs.js, key3.db, signons.sqlite and quite a few others. The profiles article gives details of how to access the profile folder.

Windows can hide file extensions, so you may not be seeing the full file names. To show the full file names follow these instructions - Vista Support - Disable Hide Extensions For Known File Types

On a side note, I see that this is a conduit toolbar, for info for quite a while all conduit toolbars were banned from appearing on the official Mozilla add-ons site due to concerns about their quality and privacy standards. Recently the ban has been lifted and conduit toolbars are allowed, with restrictions. See http://blog.mozilla.com/addons/2010/0.../add-on-review-policy-update/ for some more details.

Thank you for your reply. I am no further forward. I found the following:
"Conduit toolbars used to be forbidden on AMO, partly because of the sheer amount of add-ons being submitted, and more importantly because of problems with their quality and privacy standards. All of these issues have been worked out with Conduit and we have been in constant communication with them in order to make Conduit toolbars acceptable again on AMO.

A couple of months ago we finally reached the point where we all think it’s OK to allow Conduit add-ons. However, in order to make sure they are all held to the same standards, only Conduit-approved add-ons will be accepted for review. If you’re interested in listing your Conduit add-on on AMO, please contact Conduit about it."

It did not help much. What is AMO and how can I contact Conduit?

Thank you

You only need to contact conduit if you created the toolbar and want it published on the Mozilla add-ons site.

Hi Jebscot,

Please let me know if the error message you were getting persists. You can also email support (at) Conduit (dot) com for more help. Please include the browser version you are using, operating system and the link to the toolbar you want to install.

Cheers, Josh
