Can't print to printer or print to pdf from Firefox 3.6.8 on OS X 10.5.8. Generates pdf file, but can't be read by Preview or full acrobat.

Everything works fine with all other programs, including Safari. I don't know how long it has been happening, as I rarely print web pages. The printer is an HP 6500, but I don't think that's relevent, because of the pdf issue.

Everything has been rebooted multiple times. I'll download an older version of FF, to see if that works, but this remains a vexing problem.
