When opening my firefox browser page, I get a sound like an ambulance siren, and sounds that a tech at Cox Communications id'ed as PacMan noise. The tech also stated that he heard the same noise on the Google browser page yesterday. Any suggestions/solutions?

Disable your "Cool Previews" add-on. It stopped the problem for me.

The sound will drive you insane. But at least you can play pacman on google's homepage while you go senile. :D

Same thing happened to me, only thing I installed today was Process Lasso. I ran Malwarebytes and nothing showed up. I am in the process of running AVG scan and Spybot Search & Destroy. If this helps I will post. Any other ideas?
Deinstall CoolPreview.
