Accidentally quiting Firefox by typing Q (when I meanst to type W) gets Firefox stuck in safe mode; only cure: enter time machine and replace my Profile with an earlier version! Then restart the computer.

Accidentally quitting Firefox [by typing Q when I only meant to close its open window with W] always puts Firefox into 'permanent' safe mode -- and restarting the Mac doesn't get it out of safe mode. Nothing works but opening Time Machine and replacing my user profile with an older one! Most annoying.
