I am getting Virus detected warnings from firefox. why?

Does it sound like https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1580297 — notifications showing in the corner of the screen? That's coming from a site that was allowed to send these, see [[Web Push notifications in Firefox]] — the article shows where to revoke the permissions.

If so then these are likely just web push notifications from sites you have allowed to send you notifications. Instead of useful information some sites may send you notifications of junk, spam or fake virus/trojans etc. You can revoke these sites from sending you notifications.
