My google calendar disappeared all of the sudden

Not sure how it happened but I've suddenly lost access to my Google calendar. On the bar on the left side of my calendar display screen there is a list of two calendars, Home and my email address, which I think is a Google calendar. Even though I check "Show all calendars" it does not show my email address calendar. And if I click on only to show my email address calendar it shows nothing at all. On my Pixel cell phone I can still see both the Home calendar and the Google calendar, so I guessing Thunderbird has just lost the link, although it shows a googleapi address when I click on properties. When I accept a Zoom calendar listing it has always and still shows up on the Home calendar. This seems most mysterious. Anyone have an idea of what I should do? Is there anyway I can rebuild the link to the Google calendar?

Are you perhaps showing Tasks rather then Calendars? See menu <Events and Tasks>.

You can safely unsubscribe from the Google Calendar, then re-subscribe from the above menu. All the events are stored on the server, so there's no danger of losing anything.

That worked yesterda, but when I singed on the Thunderbird today the Goggle calendar was again missing. I unsubscribed and started and new calendar, subscribed to Google again and all is well. I'll see if it happens again tomorrow. Maybe when I shut down Thunderbird it automatically is cancelling my subscription to the Google calendar. I'll enter a response tomorrow when I see what happens.

Had you been using the Provider for Google add-on?

Yes. It is showing as turned on. Again today Thunderbird wiped out my subscription to my Google calendar. I had to unsubscribe it and resubscribe. The calendar quickly filled out when I subscribed. Something strange is going on.

There is definitely something broken, but whether it is on the Thunderbird end or the Google end is almost impossible for an end-user to know.

The provider add-on fixed such an issue in Version 128.5.11
