Hi everyone, I’m using Firefox for Android on a fairly recent device and wanted to ask about performance when running web-based applications that are a bit heavier than normal websites. Specifically, when using browser-based emulation tools or interactive web apps, I notice higher memory usage, occasional tab reloads, and sometimes audio or input lag after a few minutes. This doesn’t always happen on simpler sites, so it feels related to how Firefox handles long-running JavaScript and WebAssembly workloads on Android. I wanted to ask: Are there any recommended Firefox settings or flags to improve performance for heavier web apps? Is Firefox for Android known to aggressively suspend tabs under memory pressure? Would using private tabs, disabling certain features, or changing about: config settings help in this case?
