Profile and everything deleted

I only have one profile, the default one , I clicked something ; Firefox closed and when I opened it again I had to create a profile again , and everything I had, bookmarks history, was lost . How can I recover it , or go back to the first default profile, why is it even possible to exit firefox in any way and not be able to go back where you were.

Hi Nikica,

Please check your profile list in the following places:

  • Firefox menu (three horizontal lines in the top right corner) -> Profiles (in case you have that option)
  • Type about:profiles in your address bar and press Enter.

Try opening every listed profile and see if any of them is yours. If so, you'll be able to set it as default.

Thank you , but the only profile I can see is the default one I am using now, maybe I should have named it. I want the previous default profile, its just gone and I was not given an option to just go back to it, I had to create a profile again to start firefox.
