Try going to '''Tools -> Settings -> Home''' section. ( about:preferences#home ) and next to where is says "Homepage and new windows" in the top drop-down menu, choose '''"Blank Page"'''. That should it cause open to a blank page when you start. I don't know if you'll also have to change the setting in the '''General''' section '''"Open previous windows and tabs"''' to be '''off''' for it to just open to a blank page and not restore your last session at the same time.
