Firefox hangs
Ever since this month's Windows 10 update I've been having problems with Firefox. I start it, the menu bar and tab comes up, but then nothing. I can't access any web sites. I tried removing the Windows update, then tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, and then messing with the settings. In each case Firefox would work for a couple of days, then I'd have to start it three or four times to get it to work, then it wouldn't work at all. I've been using it for 10 or more years now (four on this computer) and have never had any problems before. I'm loathe to switch to another browser, but if this can't be fixed I won't have any choice. This is what happens when I start the program.

Hi Michael,
While the browser is responsive, may I ask you to visit about:support and click "Copy Text to Clipboard", edit this question and then paste the contents from the about:support page under troubleshooting information section, then click on Save changes? That'll help our team to troubleshoot the issue further.
Hi Michael,
It's ok if you're not comfortable sharing the about:support information. I just wanted to provide an update here.
I have a feeling that your issue may relate to a current incident we have that impact users updating to 142. Recently, we added the following line in the 142 release notes under the Unresolved section:
Multiselecting non-contiguous tabs to drag may result in toolbar unresponsiveness or visual glitches. Dragging any single tab should resolve this. We will be landing a fix in the next dot release with Bug 1984342.
The dot release is planned this week, so please keep an eye on our update soon!
