You need to install Firefox using full installer. Try to download it from https://www.firefox.com/download/all/ and install it.

Until the problem is resolved - create a shortcut to AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox\desktop-launcher\desktop-launcher.exe It's a miracle! Firefox pops up much faster than normal and so far no issues?! Lost a lot of time - gotta go catch-up.
