Hi Steve

You cannot sort them automatically in Firefox for Android but you can on a desktop copy of Firefox and then sync them using Firefox Sync to your mobile device.

Hello Paul. Unfortunately, since several update versions, synchronization no longer reflects, on the smartphone, the order established for the desktop/laptop client. J-P
