Wikipedia Search Box Gone
For the last two days the search box for Wikipedia is missing with Firefox, but works properly with Chrome and its various derivatives.
My FireFox is 128.0.3 64 bit which it claims is the current release. It claims to have updated last on July 27 which is an obvious red flag. Is there some way to force FireFox to revert to the previous release?
I can get to a search box it by right clicking on the magnifier and opening the search box in another tab or window, and then deleting the original tab which is rather cumbersome. I've turned off all ad blockers and so forth.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Doesn't the search bar open if you click the magnifier icon?
No, won't open with a left click. And it's not open invisibly even. I tried typing in the area the box should be but Wiki doesn't respond to it.
From my end I only see two things to try: 1) delete and reinstall v. 128 2) delete and install v. 127
Any other suggestions?
Try to lower the zoom level (with Ctrl + scroll) of the webpage to 100%, or even 70%.
Now I am stumped. I went in to play with the Zoom (which is normally at 83%) and the search box is normal again. So I played with the Zoom settings anyhow, but at no setting did the search box fail to appear. At some settings of course, one needs to click the magnifier to display the search box, but all is well again.
1) I looked at the FireFox update history and it still shows July 27 as the last update. 2) I shut everything down and rebooted. It still works properly. 3) So far as I know there's no way to see if Wiki updated anything significant. They're constantly tweaking their page content though.
Anyhow, I'll continue to monitor this and let you know if anything insightful turns up.
