If a webpage looks different then this is usually caused by the website making changes to its markup/layout and there is nothing you can do about this to revert the changes.
Hi coral-ed, thanks for taking the time to try. I am surprised No-one could answer how to go back to an earlier position, I have used that in the past I'm sure. With low expectations, I asked MS help; it proved far too complicated for me to give all the information - led into incomprehensible instructions, alas. But very patient agent! THEN asked could he/she take over my laptop; agreed, was carefully warned not to leave any sensitive pages open :-) I was fascinated to watch the work - I could never have done it in a million years! Needed me to do some actions with little drawn arrows (!) and 5 minutes later, all repaired! Kudos to Microsoft for once. On the review I did mention there will be millions of us non-nerds who don't need the frankly fantastic stuff possible with the latest "improvements" (I only wish I could; when I tried in the past, I just screwed things up!) Sorry for all the long waffle; a very happy William.
