Yahoo pages don't load

When I first open Firefox and go to my yahoo home page - I can pretty much open any page - 1st try. However, after I leave a page and try to return - no luck. Has been doing this for the last 6 months. Using Firefox on an updated Macbook pro. No problems with Safari.

What happens when you try to return to the page?

Do you get a specific error message that you could copy/paste into a reply (here at https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1399869 -- not by email)?

If you get a blank page, try a reload bypassing the cache: Shift-click the reload button, or Command+Shift+R

If Firefox doesn't go back far enough, try a right-click (one button: Ctrl+click) on the Back button to view a list of previous pages and skip further back (this may be needed if a previous pages redirects forward again).

Or... more information would be helpful.
