Can't install ANY add on

My firefox is upto date, even re downloaded it and refreshed it. I go to the add on's menu and chose any one, and every one when i download it says "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."

Hi stu171,

It is possible that (anti-virus) security software is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

Or, boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.
