Lossed password, how do I get it back

I use outlook.com on my iMac, with OS 10.15.7 installed. Have lossed the password to get my E-mails on the screen.

How do I enter a new password, in Thundbird, to start using it again. I have not changed the password, in my outlook account, on Micrsoft account.

I am afraid you have to reinstall Thunderbird and configure it with your email accounts again. If it does not work it is probably because Thunderbird previous configuration is not properly removed when uninstalling so you sould locate that and remove it yourself before installing again.

Side question : Where is the button to post a new question on this forum, I can't find it !
