New mail preview pop up doesn't work in 91.2.0 update

Since the latest update, I no longer have the pop up that shows a preview of who sent the new email on desktop. All I get is the tray icon appearing. Would also prefer the old tray icon if possible to customise that? The new one isn't as noticeable at a glance.

The settings are all selected as before, so I assume it's a bug with the update.
