Hi, in Firefox for Android, go to

menu > Settings > Delete Browsing Data

This should open a list of numerous categories. You need to uncheck (or clear) the boxes for the data you want to keep, especially your Downloads.

Then once your list matches exactly what you want to do, tap the "Delete browsing data" button.
