Zoom Show Video Panel disabled while Screen Sharing, using Firefox

I updated to the latest version of Zoom on Aug. 31 - as directed by my university. Immediately experienced issues using Zoom, and using MyLearningSpace aka Brightspace aka Desire2Learn.

Issue with Zoom: When I'm in a class (Zoom meeting), if I share screen, the Show Video panel option is now gone. Completely disappeared. When I stop screen sharing, the Video Panel comes back, and the option to hide or show it returns to the menu. Unfortunately, this is a nightmare for me - I can either show my students their slides, or I can see them to answer their hands up. I can't do both - which obviously I need to be able to do. So I basically can't run class on Firefox now. My uni IT has no idea what is causing this or how to fix it.

My uni IT keeps telling me, over and over, "Stop using Firefox. Use Chrome." I don't want to stop using Firefox, though. I've used it for decades and I believe in the product.

I asked over an a Zoom community forum, and several Firefox users replied that they are having the same problem. I can forward that thread, if it's helpful.

I am using the latest version of Firefox.

Thank you for any suggestions.
