Why, why, why do the devs keep pushing asthetic design changes that user obviouslly relly don't want? You got $450 million from Google, so maybe you're doing it on purpose to drive FF users away.
Remember when FF had over 25% market share? And now you're at less than 3.5%. That's because you keep messing with the FF interface. Take for example you're unwanted chunky new double spaced menus and bookmarks. Everybody hates them. You know that. Why not listen to the last of the FF users?
Why not give use end-users a voice in how Firefox looks? Let us OPT OUT of cosmetic design changes. I've never been asked my opinion in a survey and you killed-off the FF feed back feature. Why? Because too many people don't like what your doing? Since Google essentially owns you now, are trying to kill off FF for them? Because you're doing a great job of it!

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers. If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

There is work under way to tighten up the bookmark menus that drop from the main and bookmarks toolbar. In Firefox 93 (next release), the optional Compact density setting will do that. Here's a preview from the "Developer Edition" (based on the beta test version of Firefox 93):
However, Firefox 93 isn't scheduled to release until early October.
Until then, what support volunteers can suggest is limited...
Unofficial Community-Supported Workaround
Firefox users can modify the user interface of the browser using custom style rules. This involves setting up a userChrome.css file. If this is your first time, make sure to set aside 10 quiet minutes to work through it.

To be clear, I do not work for Mozilla or have special influence on UI decisions. This is the information I have for you. No point ranting at me.
So why are you speaking on behalf of/defending the dev team? Let them explain themselves. You're an attorney, right? Are you paid by Mozilla?
Ya know, if the UX team spent half as much time listening to users' complaints as the did congratulating themselves on how brilliant they think they are, FF could get back at least half the market share they've alienated.
This is a support forum and is staffed by volunteers from all walks of life. None of us is paid for this.
The site I linked to before is the site for product feedback (you'll end up there if you use the Help menu's Submit feedback... item). There also are general forums at https://discourse.mozilla.org/ and Mozilla monitors the https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/ subreddit. Those are the appropriate places to discuss your ideas for future modifications, as they are not tech support questions.
The FF crew don't listen or give a shit. Their agenda remains mystery to the <3.5% of the market that have clung to FF. Thank you for your time and misguided benefaction. You could do more good with your valuable time elsewhere.
