deletin fiefox plugins
I want to get rid of adblock which I installed as an add on.
It doesnt work very well for my browsing needs and is continually getting in the way with selling pleas.
So how to get rid of it ? I do see that I can get a list in firefox of installed add-ins, so why cant I click on a delete delete button alongside the add-ins that I don't want ?

Are you saying the add-on can not be removed, or how to do it?
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager.
Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Find and select that add-on. Click on the 3-dots icon to its right.

Please can I withdraw this thread. My difficulties arise from a defect in my eyes which tends to duplicate the elements in the menu symbol. Instead of seeing three flat lines (like a stack of books) I usually see four or five.
It is an interesting point though that most documentation these days describes things using undefined terms like "newsfeed", "timeline", and so on ad nauseam (these being facebook favourites). In mozilla's case WTF is a menu bar, etc etc.
So still an "angry mozilla user", but apologetic for my latest outburst.
Sorry folks.
