Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers&#46; They are;
</p><p>Maintenance: (Programs Folder) &lt;Windows Only&gt;
Firefox itself: (Programs Folder)
And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer
for each Firefox profile for that user&#46;

From that vanilla installation I updated to 90. and it seems to be working now.
</p><p>Thank God I've done this enough times over the years to have backups of passwords, bookmarks, settings, addons, etc. so I don't have to start from scratch. It's still a pain.
</p>There is a setting that does not show the X until you place the cursor over the tab.
