Yes, it is true that Windows 10 wants people to use its applications, like its browser.
But microsoft provides you with the options to use other software too.
So at this time it seems that Windows has defaulted its browser for use with the internet.
But you can change the default browser to FireFox in the default apps control panel.
Click on Windows Start > PC Settings > Apps > Default Apps
