Thank you for your feedback. Collections is a feature that I understand we are looking to do more with in the future.

It is very frustrating and sad that when my phone was stolen I also lost all of my extensively-curated collections! What good are they, truly, if they can't be synced or saved? What do you suggest as the alternative? I don't think folders is an option because syncing between desktop and mobile is also imperfect. For instance, my synced bookmarks on mobile right now do *not* exactly match what I have on my desktop.

I feel like I need to go back to the dark days of saving all my sites to diigo, or similar, because I used those collections for so many reasons EVERY DAY and now I'm lost :o/

As far as bookmarks, on desktop, mobile bookmarks are in "Mobile Bookmarks". All of the desktop bookmarks can be accessed in the mobile app. It isnt as straight forward as one would like but is possible. I would have used bookmarks for important things had Mozilla informed the users that collections werent sinked or backed up. I now absolutely refuse to put anything in collections or use any new feature in Firefox because of the lack of information weather or not you will lose your stuff.
