Hi Aris, did you try deleting your BBC cookies? Here's one way:

While viewing a page on the site, click the lock icon at the left end of the address bar. After a moment, a "Clear Cookies and Site Data" button should appear at the bottom. Go ahead and click that.

In the dialog that opens, you will see one or more matches to the current address so you can remove the site's cookies individually without affecting other sites.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm afraid that didn't help. I'd already cleared all cache and it didn't resolve the problem (only that i now have to 'accept cookies' in every single site again arrggh), so doing it for BBC only didn't make any difference. The problem still persists unfortunately.

Note that you do not have to remove all the cookies, but you can remove cookies only for specific origins. "Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

• Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
  Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

You can check the connection settings.

• Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

As I said, I've tried deleting cookies/cache, but the problem persists. In any case, I just re-tried as you suggested....nothing.

Also checked 'no proxy'.Again, the problem is still there

No problem at all with Chrome or MS Edge...

You can use websites like these to see how your location is reported via a reverse DNS look up of your IP:

• https://www.iplocation.net/
• https://whatismyipaddress.com/

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

You're welcome.

It is possible that the website uses local storage to store this information and this storage is different than cookies and is harder to clear.
