Problem adding CA cert to firefox with certutil

i have been trying to add a certificate to firefox using certtutil(from terminal) in my ubuntu machine. The command i'm using is sudo certutil -d sql:$HOME/.pki/nssdb -A -t C,P, -n mycert -i myCert.crt. The same works for google chrome without any error.

Please help me come to a solution. thanks in advance
