why did they completely ruin the interface on the new t-bird? unusable!!!

I'm a LONG TIME T-Bird user - as far back as I can remember - and I never thought the day would come when I would be looking to ditch T-Bird, but the new version is SO HORRIBLE I am now seeking to ditch it.

Specifically, it is now NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to send an email to more than one person.

It used to be easy - just hit TAB after putting in one address, and it opens another TO field. And it was super easy to change TO to BCC to CC or REPLY-TO or whatever.

Then some moron decides that they want to kill T-Bird by giving it such an impossibly difficult interface that nobody will ever want to use it!

What is going on here?

Why is it impossibly difficult to send email to more than one person?

I am sure I'm not the only person who ever wants to send email to more than one recipient!

Is there anybody that can recommend a different mail agent?

Again, I used to love T-Bird to death, but this new version is so horrible I can not get my work done, even if I had extra hours every day to spend clicking endlessly around this incredibly stupid and unusable interface.
