Thunderbird Dark Theme after update 78.2.2 messed up (dark email background when writing mails)

After the update to 78.2.2 a couple of days ago, Thunderbird always opens a new mail with dark background and white text color. Before Thunderbird, even in dark mode which I always enabled, did open a new message with white background and black text color.

This 'new' feature of Thunderbird messes the whole purpose of using Thunderbird up. I mean why would I want to reply to an email when I can type and read my text but I am unable to quickly review the message I am replying to because it has black text color on dark background. Who implemented this? Who wanted this? Why is that?

For now I enabled Light Mode, which is a pain in the ass to work with during night. Dark pains with bright messages really is a relief, but it is also necessary to write on white background.
