LASTPASS recreation assistance
In brief, I lost my master password and had to delete the entire database and start over!! :-(
Now I'm trying to recreate the thing and it seems to be mixed up (or I am) and I keep running into a half installed and not installed situation..?
The directions say to create a new account, but I already have one (email addr.) and I want to use that same address. I keep running into 'enter master p.w.' (which I don't have) or create one -- which causes a duplicate.!?
It's bad enough I have to recover MANY accounts and their passwords much less have to wrestle with this.!!?
HELP!!!
I just need to get past this nonsense and start typing in data again.
Thanks, Phil

Hi Phil, let me mention that there are two different passwords:
- Firefox Account: this is your account for support, and Mozilla services like Sync; it uses your email as your username and the password of your choice
- Master Password: this is a purely local password used to encrypt your saved logins on disk (in Lockwise, not LastPass); it does not take a username
How is LastPass involved in this problem? If you are using LastPass to store your logins, then you can ignore the Firefox Account and Firefox Master Password.
If this is a problem with the LastPass database then you need to contact the LP developers for support.
