I use AVG Security S/Ware. The latest version allows installation of :- "Firefox Extension Browser". They say this protects for problem web sites by checking each one. Is it worth installing? Or will it do more harm than good?

Duplication of an existing Firefox built-in feature, and sure to cause an issue of that "Firefox Browser Extension" isn't updated in a timely manner. AVG isn't the worst in that regard. but it does happen with AVG, iirc.

I avoid those "Security App Extensions" like the plague; and the main reason I dumped AVG Free 6 or 7 years ago.

Many thanks, I will keep AVG, had it for years, but will not install the Browser security extension
