Hello, I am a Firefox user for a long time (before 1.0). I was seeing how the user base is going down lately. I wondered why. Now, I start to understand.

I've been using Linux for more than 20 years. Several flavors. Now, I use Sabayon and KDE Neon. I understand it's not a big user base for Linux in the world, for desktop.

Still, in the last years, I have had a BIG problem using Firefox under Linux, regardless the theme I chose, the Linux distribution, or its base distribution. The radio and the check boxes. Can't see any if the site does not have some override of the common controls. Can't filter when shopping, can't set addresses, can't pay.

I've found many people complaining about. The solutions provided were to try finding some theme or hack the site pages by inspecting elements and changing styles there.

Are you serious? Do you think the Linux users are all IT web specialists? How do you expect people adopt Firefox back? Even my son simply switched to Chrome due to this. Because it's practical.

I have tried so many things, none worked so far.

You blew your knee by changing the plugins API, that disturbed everybody's productivity, but people were patient, waited many years to have their stuff back, still not there yet. But missing such basic feature as common controls makes it unusable.

You must do something, as Google does, as Microsoft does, even Opera.
