"File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help" have all disappeared. How do I get them back? I have 77.0.1 (64 bit) on a MacBook Air. I've lost a huge amount of functionality, and I don't know how or why.

Hi amyk1, is it possible your Firefox is in full screen mode? The keyboard shortcut for Mac to switch between regular and full screen is

Command + Shift + f

Otherwise, hmm, the top menu bar should always be there. Users who updated to MacOS Catalina reported a problem where starting Firefox with a link in another application led to a blank menu bar. The problem did not occur when they started Firefox from its icon in the dock. Your Firefox said it's on High Sierra, so that probably doesn't apply to you. But you could check it out anyway.

No, it's not in full screen. I've figured it out now thanks to the above. McCoy, can you please tell me what the scam is?

Some scammer wanted you to believe that you would get help if you'd call a certain phone number.

Whenever you see something like that: don't fall for it; Firefox doesn't have a call center;
this is the official support forum.
