firefox not working with win 10 2004 update

Every since i installed the win 10 2004 build, my computers will hang up when i try to open Firefox. The CPU goes to 100 percent and the power level goes to very high. This happens immediately or sometimes within an hour. It tries to open but only gets a white screen and a not responding message in the title bar. I have to reboot the PC's to get them to work. If i don't open Firefox they will work. I have two other computers and the same thing happens on them. I have had to roll back to my last win 10 build 1909 on all three PC's. Anybody else having this problem? Thanks for any suggestions you have

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
